is responsible for safely transporting guests, staff, and luggage within the resort premises using the resort's buggy/club car. The role ensures timely pick-up and drop-off, courteous guest service, and proper upkeep of the assigned vehicle to provide a smooth and pleasant resort experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive and operate the resort buggy within the property at all times.
Provide a warm, courteous, and professional service to all guests.
Assist guests with luggage handling during arrival, check-in, and check-out.
Ensure timely pick-up/drop service between rooms, restaurants, beach, spa, and other resort facilities.
Maintain cleanliness of the buggy vehicle inside and outside on a daily basis.
Conduct basic checks (battery, brakes, lights, horn, tires) and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Follow resort driving policies, traffic rules, and safety procedures.
Assist in guest inquiries and provide directions within the resort.
Support other departments in staff transportation as required.
Report lost & found items immediately as per resort procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a driver in a resort/hotel environment preferred.
Valid driving license (LMV or equivalent, as per local regulation).
Physically fit, presentable, and customer-service oriented.
Ability to communicate politely and effectively with guests (basic English preferred).
Knowledge of resort layout and facilities (training provided).
Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Physical & Work Conditions:
Outdoor driving within the resort property.
Flexible working hours based on guest movements.
