Key Responsibilities

:

Assist in performing quality checks and inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products. Learn and apply quality standards such as ISO, 5S, and other customer-specific requirements. Support documentation of inspection reports, deviations, and corrective actions. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Participate in internal audits and assist in process improvements. Conduct first-piece and final inspection under supervision. Understand and help enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain proper records and data entry in quality management systems.

Qualifications

:

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience). Good academic understanding of quality control, manufacturing processes, and mechanical measurements.

Skills Required

:

Basic knowledge of measurement instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.). Understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is a plus. Strong analytical and observation skills. Willingness to learn and work in a factory/shop floor environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and basic report writing.
