Job Description

Experience: 6 months to 2 yearsSkills Required:

Proficiency with personal computers and word processing software. Normal hearing acuity . Excellent listening skills . Good with English grammar

Roles & Responsibilities:

Review and edit transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical terminology. Transcribe dictation for a variety of medical reports. Translate medical jargon and abbreviations into their expanded forms to ensure the accuracy of patient and health care facility records. Ability to operate word processing equipment, dictation and transcription equipment, other equipment as specified to troubleshoot as necessary
