Check incoming F&V stock for quality: freshness, damage, spoilage, ripeness.
Monitor storage conditions, shelf-life, FIFO/FEFO practices for perishables.
Conduct regular audits of bins, pallet loads, inventory records and identify quality/wastage issues.
Coordinate with procurement/operations teams to manage rejects, returns, and corrective actions.
Maintain documentation of quality checks, deviations, and generate reports for management.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
Support operational team during rotational shifts to maintain smooth quality operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor of Science (BSc) preferably in Food Science, Agriculture, Horticulture or related discipline.
1-3 years experience (ideally) in F&V handling, perishables quality control, dark store / quick commerce environment is a plus.
Familiarity with perishable stock handling: shelf life, spoilage, storage protocols.
Strong attention to detail, good Excel skills/basic digital reporting.
Ability to work in rotational shifts including nights / weekends.
Male candidates only (as per requirement).
Willingness to join immediately / in short notice (if desired by employer).
