Collaborate with architects, geotechnical, and transportation engineers during planning stages.
2. Site Inspection and Supervision
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Identify construction issues early and provide solutions.
Supervise bridge erection and ensure quality control.
3. Project Management
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and stakeholders.
Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and safety standards.
4. Maintenance and Rehabilitation
Inspect existing bridges for structural integrity and wear.
Plan and oversee maintenance, repairs, or strengthening works.
Maintain detailed inspection reports and logs.
5. Compliance and Safety
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes and regulations.
Implement safety procedures on-site.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis.
6. Documentation and Reporting
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation for approvals.
Maintain accurate records of design, modifications, and maintenance activities.
7. Innovation and Development
Stay updated with latest materials, techniques, and innovations in bridge engineering.
Recommend improvements or cost-effective solutions in bridge construction and maintenance
