A breeder farm in-charge is

a supervisor responsible for the daily operations of a poultry breeder farm

, which includes managing staff, monitoring bird health and welfare, overseeing feeding and watering, and ensuring high-quality egg production. Key duties involve staff supervision, implementing biosecurity and vaccination programs, maintaining farm equipment, managing records and reports, and coordinating with veterinarians and management to meet production goals. Key responsibilities

Staff management:

Allocate work to laborers, provide training and supervision, and ensure compliance with biosecurity procedures.

Bird health and welfare:

Monitor bird health and ensure proper feeding, watering, and lighting. Follow and update vaccination schedules accurately. Enforce biosecurity measures to maintain flock health. Monitor floor, feeding, and drinking space to ensure it meets capacity needs.

Farm operations and maintenance:

Oversee daily tasks like egg collection, selection (rejection of cracked eggs), and cleaning. Ensure the correct quantity of feed is distributed daily. Maintain the required stock of medicines and supplies. Perform and coordinate maintenance and repair of farm equipment and facilities.

Record keeping and reporting:

Prepare and update daily reports, including stock details, egg production, and feed consumption. Keep accurate records related to production, health, and finances.
