Brass Instrument Teacher
to join the Performing Arts Department for the July 2026 onboarding. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong musical proficiency across brass instruments and have significant experience preparing students for international music examinations, particularly
Trinity College London (TCL)
and
ABRSM (RSM)
.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
Teach
Trumpet, Euphonium, Trombone, Horn, and Baritone
to students at various skill levels.
Prepare students for
TCL examinations (Grade 8 mandatory)
and
ABRSM (Royal Schools of Music) examinations (preferred)
.
Conduct individual lessons, group sessions, and ensemble practices.
Lead and support the school band, orchestra rehearsals, and musical ensembles.
Prepare students for recitals, competitions, school events, and public performances.
Contribute to curriculum planning and structured learning pathways in brass music.
Conduct assessments, auditions, and provide detailed feedback and progress documentation.
Guide students on technique, musicality, instrument handling, and maintenance.
Collaborate with the Performing Arts faculty on departmental initiatives and performances.
Actively participate in the responsibilities of a residential school setting.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Music, Performing Arts, or equivalent qualification.
TCL Grade 8 (mandatory).
ABRSM / RSM certification (preferred).
Expertise in Trumpet, Euphonium, Trombone, Horn, and Baritone.
Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international or residential school.
Proven experience coaching students for TCL or ABRSM examinations.
Strong musical pedagogy skills, communication abilities, and classroom management.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and high-performing department.
