Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Band Master located in Ghaziabad. The Band Master will be responsible for training, guiding, and managing the school band for both primary and senior students. Key responsibilities include conducting regular band practices, training students in marching and parade drills, and preparing the band for school assemblies, ceremonial functions, competitions, and special events. The role also involves instruction in wind and percussion instruments, maintaining discipline during practice sessions, ensuring proper care and maintenance of instruments, and coordinating performances in line with the school calendar. Collaboration with school leadership and teachers to support co-curricular programs is an integral part of this role.

Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate in Music or Band Conducting from a recognized institution
(Preference will be given to candidates trained at Army/Navy/Air Force Band Schools or other government-recognized music institutes)

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in training and managing a school band at primary and senior levels Proficiency in marching, parade drills, wind instruments, and percussion instruments Ability to read and compose music and organize band performances Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students across age groups Prior experience in CBSE/ICSE/Army Schools will be an added advantage
