We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and insightful Strategy & Planning Manager/Senior Manager to
join our Strategy team at ting. You will play a pivotal role in crafting brand and communication strategies for
some of the region's most exciting and ambitious brands. From early-stage startups to legacy businesses
looking to pivot, your work will define narratives, sharpen positioning, and unlock growth pathways for our
clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development & Delivery
Lead the end-to-end strategy lifecycle across services: Brand Audits, Brand Strategy, Naming,
Architecture, Culture, GTM, and Communication Strategy.
Facilitate brand definition through purpose, audience profiling, vision & values articulation,
personality crafting, and positioning frameworks.
Build compelling message houses, brand ladders, consumer journey maps, and friction maps.
Interpret business challenges and translate them into clear strategic directions, anchored in insights
and cultural context.
2. Research & Analysis
Conduct rigorous primary and secondary research: market landscapes, competitive audits, user
interviews, internal stakeholder sessions.
Synthesize findings into actionable insights that shape strategic frameworks.
Track consumer trends, behavioural shifts, and category white spaces to embed future-focused
thinking in all strategies.
3. Workshops & Client Engagement
Help facilitate in-person/virtual workshops (e.g., Brand Strategy, Culture, Perception).
Partner closely with clients, guiding them through strategic thinking and fostering alignment at every
stage.
Create and present high-impact documents and decks that are crisp, structured, and visually
articulate.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with creative, design, content, and account management teams to ensure strategy
informs execution.
Act as the strategic conscience on projects--providing direction, ensuring coherence, and anchoring
creative work in core brand truths.
5. Mentorship & Team Development
Guide junior strategists or interns; provide feedback, templates, and checkpoints to elevate thinking.
Contribute to building tools, templates, and IP to systematize and scale our strategic offerings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Haves:
4-5 years of experience in strategy roles across brand consulting, advertising, consumer insights, or
startup environments.

Strong strategic acumen paired with storytelling ability--can go from framework to narrative
seamlessly.
Proven experience in developing brand strategy documents and conducting stakeholder or
consumer interviews.
Deep comfort with ambiguity, multi-sector work, and client-facing delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience running or contributing to strategic workshops.
Familiarity with cultural strategy, semiotics, or behavioural science.
Passion for consumer brands, startups, or working on zero-to-one journeys.
