JOB PROFILE OF BRAND MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Planning:



Develop and implement strategies for the promotion of dermatological products. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends. Assist in product positioning, pricing, and differentiation. Work with cross-functional teams to define product specifications and guidelines.

Marketing and Promotion:



Plan and execute marketing campaigns and product promotions. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional materials (brochures, websites, presentations). Manage product launches and related events (conferences, seminars, etc.).

Product Lifecycle Management:



Monitor product performance and sales and helping in individual target achievement Coordinate with R&D and production teams to address product issues, improvements, or updates. Handle product-related queries from internal stakeholders and customers.

Sales Support and Training:



Work closely with the sales team to provide product knowledge and training. Regular monitoring of Input utilization by Sales taem Develop educational content for sales representatives, ensuring they understand product features, benefits, and potential side effects. Support sales in meetings with healthcare professionals, doctors, or distributors.

Market Analysis and Competitor Monitoring:



Conduct SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis of the product. Monitor competitor products, pricing, and marketing strategies to identify areas of improvement or opportunity. Analyze customer feedback and market demand to suggest product enhancements.

Regulatory Compliance:



Ensure that the product complies with all regulatory requirements. Stay up to date with changes in pharmaceutical regulations, ensuring that all marketing and product activities align with industry standards.

Collaboration with Doctors & Sales team:



Work with healthcare professionals, doctors, and institutions to gather insights for product development and marketing. Interact with internal departments like R&D, production, Dispatch.

Skills Required:



Industry Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug formulations, regulations, and market dynamics.

Marketing and Sales:

Strong grasp of marketing strategies, digital marketing, and sales tactics specific to pharmaceuticals.

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to interpret market data, understand customer behavior, and analyze product performance.

Regulatory Knowledge:

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FDA, EMA, or other local agencies, depending on the region.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to address product issues, market challenges, or customer complaints proactively.

Project Management:

Efficient in managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.

Educational Qualifications:



A

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences

, or a related field. Additional qualifications in

Marketing

Business Administration (MBA)

, or

Pharmaceutical Marketing

will be an added advantage.
