Job Description

Role Overview



The Brand Designer will be responsible for building and maintaining the visual ecosystem of a brand across digital and physical touch points. The role blends creative execution with strategic thinking -- ensuring that every asset, from identity systems to packaging, aligns with brand objectives, audience insights, and market positioning.

This position involves translating brand strategy into visual systems through research, concept development, prototyping, and final execution.

Experience in packaging design is mandatory.



Key Responsibilities



Develop comprehensive brand identity systems including logos, typography, colour palettes, visual language, patterning, iconography, and applications. Create

packaging concepts

and final designs for consumer products with attention to structure, compliance, production, and print processes. Conduct brand research to understand market, competitors, audience, and product positioning, and apply insights to design decisions. Contribute to brand strategy discussions -- aligning visual direction with brand architecture, tone of voice, values, and marketing goals. Convert brand strategy into scalable visual guidelines and brand manuals. Design digital brand assets for web, social, email, and campaigns. Maintain visual consistency across touch points including marketing collateral, presentations, POS materials, merchandise, and UI elements. Prepare final artwork for print, production, and digital release, ensuring accuracy in specifications. Collaborate with marketing, strategy, and product teams for integrated brand execution. Support iterative refinement through prototyping, stakeholder reviews, and field testing.

Technical Skills & Competencies



Brand Design Strategy & Brand Architecture Understanding Brand Research & Insight Mapping Packaging Design (Mandatory) Typography & Type Systems Colour Theory & Visual Language Development Layout Design & Composition Illustration and/or Iconography (added advantage) Knowledge of Print Production, Printing Processes & Materials Digital Design for Web + Social Asset Optimisation for Diverse Outputs Creation of Brand Guides & Usage Manuals

Experience



2-4 years in brand design or related graphic/communication design roles. Proven experience in packaging design (mandatory). Experience in agency, studio, or multi-brand environments preferred.
