Techoftheday Academy is looking for a creative, passionate, and skilled
Visual Design Trainer
to educate and inspire aspiring designers. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions on graphic design principles, tools, and industry best practices. This role demands a strong grasp of design fundamentals, software proficiency, and the ability to guide students in building compelling portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive sessions on visual/graphic design, UI/UX fundamentals, branding, and layout design.
Teach industry-standard tools such as
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma
, and
Canva
.
Develop and update training materials, projects, and assignments tailored to different learning levels.
Guide students in creating professional design portfolios and real-world projects.
Conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions to provide constructive feedback and skill development guidance.
Stay up to date with current design trends, tools, and techniques, and incorporate them into training.
Assess student performance through practical tasks, quizzes, and reviews.
Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve curriculum and delivery methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in
visual design, graphic design, or UI/UX design
(minimum 2-3 years preferred).
Strong proficiency in design tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Previous experience in training, mentoring, or teaching is a plus.
Ability to simplify complex design concepts for beginners and intermediate learners.
Bachelor's degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
