will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day branch operations while focusing on business development and sales growth. This role is ideal for a result-driven professional with strong experience in freight forwarding sales and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead branch-level sales and business development activities in the freight forwarding sector
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue and expand client base
Acquire new customers and manage key accounts across air, sea, and road freight
Hire, train, and manage the local sales and support team (as required)
Collaborate with internal teams (pricing, operations, customer service) to ensure service quality
Monitor branch performance, prepare reports, and ensure achievement of KPIs
Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, shipping lines, and other stakeholders
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and operational standards
Candidate Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline
Minimum 6-10 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics sales, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or branch management role
Strong local market knowledge (Ahmedabad/Gujarat region) and client network
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Proven track record of sales achievements and client retention
Proficiency in MS Office
