The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing the branch's overall operations, business growth, and profitability in alignment with the company's goals. This includes overseeing sales, credit, collections, and customer service functions, ensuring full compliance with NBFC regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall branch operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Achieve business targets related to loan disbursements, NCD collections, and revenue generation.
Ensure quality portfolio by monitoring overdue accounts and maintaining collection efficiency.
Guide and motivate the branch team to meet sales and recovery objectives.
Implement marketing and business development activities to expand the customer base.
Ensure all loan files, KYC documents, and operational activities comply with RBI and company guidelines.
Maintain close coordination with the credit, accounts, and audit teams for operational accuracy.
Handle customer queries and grievances promptly, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and ensure timely remittance and branch reconciliation.
Review staff performance and ensure proper training, motivation, and discipline.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on branch performance, sales, and collections to the Corporate Office.
Represent the company positively in the local market and maintain relationships with customers, business partners, and authorities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum
3 years
of experience in NBFC / Banking sector, with at least
2 years
in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven track record in sales, credit, and collections management.
