Position Overview:
The
Branch Manager
will be responsible for overall business development, branch operations, and team performance. This leadership role demands a strong business acumen, excellent people management, and proven expertise in sales within the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the branch.
Drive business growth through sales of banking and insurance products.
Achieve branch revenue, productivity, and profitability targets.
Recruit, train, and mentor Front Line Sales Executives (FLS).
Develop and execute local marketing strategies for customer acquisition.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory norms, and audit standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and regional management.
Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic inputs to management.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong sales orientation and target-driven mindset.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial products and market understanding.
Problem-solving, planning, and decision-making capability.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 4-8 years in financial sales / branch management (preferably BFSI domain).
Location Preference:
Candidates from or willing to relocate to Guruvayoor or Perinthalmanna.
