We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our growing operations in the insurance sector. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in general insurance or insurance broking, who is passionate about building high-performing teams, managing key client relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Sales & Business Development



Drive acquisition across general insurance lines (Property, Marine, Liability, Motor, etc.)
Build, mentor, and lead a high-achieving sales team
Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
Maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline

2. Branch Operations & Team Management



Oversee complete branch operations, including policy issuance, claims, and customer service
Ensure team productivity, performance, and development
Adhere to service benchmarks and process compliance

3. Client Relationship Management



Manage relationships with both retail and corporate clients
Conduct client review meetings and offer risk-based solutions
Handle escalations with professionalism and efficiency

4. Insurer Coordination



Negotiate and coordinate with insurance partners for best terms
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers for smooth underwriting and claims handling

5. Compliance & Reporting



Ensure IRDAI and internal policy compliance
Maintain CRM and policy management systems
Deliver timely branch performance reports and MIS

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related field
IRDAI certification (preferred)
6-11 years of relevant experience in general insurance or broking
Prior experience in branch leadership, insurance sales, or area operations

Skills & Competencies:



Strong leadership and team-building skills
In-depth understanding of general insurance products
Excellent communication and negotiation ability
Strategic thinking with hands-on execution style
Tech-savvy with CRM and MS Office proficiency
Customer-first approach with problem-solving mindset
Regulatory and compliance knowledge (IRDAI guidelines)

Preferred Background:



Experience in managing large corporate/commercial line clients
Exposure to underwriting, claims, or placement coordination
