To oversee and manage the daily operations of the branch, ensuring business goals are met through efficient processes, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storing, dispatching, and inventory control.
Ensure accurate documentation of inward and outward stock movements.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishments.
Maintain optimal space utilization and cleanliness across the warehouse.
Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, drivers, and loaders to ensure productivity and discipline.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Handle logistics planning and coordination with transporters for timely dispatches.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper handling of goods.
Maintain records for audits, reporting, and internal reviews.
Collaborate with sales, finance, and admin teams for smooth branch functioning.
Handle customer order fulfillment and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
1-2 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations.
Prior experience in inventory management, dispatch handling, and team supervision.
Working knowledge of system and Microsoft Excel.
