The Branch Head (Academics) is responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative functions of the branch, ensuring high-quality teaching standards, curriculum delivery, student satisfaction, and faculty performance. This role demands strong leadership, academic management, and operational skills to drive both educational excellence and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Leadership & Quality
Ensure smooth delivery of curriculum and academic programs as per institutional standards.
Monitor teaching quality, faculty performance, and student learning outcomes.
Implement academic policies, examination systems, and evaluation methods.
Support curriculum enhancement and adoption of innovative teaching methods.
2. Faculty & Staff Management
Recruit, train, and mentor faculty and academic staff.
Allocate teaching responsibilities and prepare faculty schedules.
Conduct regular faculty performance reviews and provide development support.
Encourage teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning culture.
3. Student Support & Engagement
Ensure effective student mentoring, guidance, and academic counseling.
Address student concerns and grievances related to academics.
Conduct orientation programs, workshops, and academic events to enhance learning.
Monitor student attendance, discipline, and overall academic performance.
4. Branch Operations & Administration
Oversee academic operations including timetabling, classroom management, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with central management for academic and operational requirements.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with institutional policies.
Manage branch facilities to ensure a conducive learning environment.
5. Performance & Growth
Achieve academic and operational goals of the branch.
Monitor key academic metrics (student results, pass percentage, retention rates).
Support marketing and admission activities by ensuring strong academic credibility.
Build and maintain good relationships with parents, students, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:
Master's Degree (MBA, or equivalent).
5-8 years of experience in Branch handling, with at least 2-3 years in an leadership role.
