Key Qualifications Key Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack (Spark, Flume, Kafka, HDFS). CDH is a bonus
• Ideal team player: humble, hungry and works well with others
• Passionate for Big Data technologies with a flexible and creative approach to problem solving
• Kubernetes, Docker, GIT, Jenkins, Spinnaker experience
• Monitoring technologies like Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics
• Messaging technologies like Kafka, Solace and REST
• Storage technologies like Elastic Search, Druid, Object Storage
• Experience with Linux or IAAS
• Fundamental network topologies and troubleshooting
• Experience with Python, Ansible, Java, Scala, or Go
• Provide architectural guidance, planning, estimating cluster capacity, and execution plans
• Cloud Native experience
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills; proven technical leadership and communication skills
• Ability to independently learn new technologies, develop new processes
• Flexibility for travel and work schedules
• Mandarin speaker is a bonus

As Senior DevOps Operator, we look forward to your ability to shape the next generation of Big Data solutions by working on innovative technologies and solutions for the Insight team. This is a great opportunity to work side by side with exceptional people that architect and engineer our platform and help take it to the next level. The team is responsible for the data collection, operation and reporting of the systems for all of Apple's products around the world. Apple's Product Engineering and Operations teams use our platform for the production of the next great product. Be a part of the core of Apple! - Managing very large-scale, highly-available Big Data infrastructure supporting multi-Petabytes of data with super-linear growth. - Planning, operating, troubleshooting and scaling infrastructure, clusters and applications supporting all of our products. - Solve challenging Big Data operational problems across a broad range of Apple supply chain services. - Developing the automation, processes and procedures to maintain the stability of the platform while scaling it up to meet demand.

BE/ B.Tech or Masters in Computer Science preferred
