Role Overview
The BPO Telecaller will be responsible for
outbound calling
to tourism boards, hospitality businesses, airlines, cruise lines, travel companies, and corporate clients. The role requires strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to maintain high productivity (at least
500 communications daily
- calls/emails/WhatsApp follow-ups).
Key Responsibilities
Make
outbound calls (minimum 500 communications daily)
to prospective clients, partners, and decision-makers in the travel & tourism industry.
Introduce Travel and Tour World*, explain our media services, advertising opportunities, and event coverage benefits. Maintain structured follow-ups through
emails, WhatsApp, and CRM tools
.
Gather accurate client information and update databases/CRM.
Schedule virtual/in-person meetings for the Business Development/Media Liaison teams.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly calling and lead-generation targets.
Handle basic queries, objections, and route qualified leads to senior managers.
Support during major international trade events (ITB, WTM, ATM, etc.) through pre-event and post-event telecalling campaigns.
Ensure excellent communication standards in line with global B2B etiquette.
Requirements & Skills
Education:
Minimum Graduate (any stream).
Experience:
0-3 years in BPO, telecalling, lead generation, or sales support (travel/media B2B experience preferred).
Languages:
Strong command of
English (spoken & written)
; knowledge of additional international languages will be an advantage.
Skills:
Excellent communication & persuasion skills.
Confidence in talking to senior executives and international clients.
Ability to handle high-volume daily calling (500+ communications).
Good email drafting & CRM handling.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM tools).
Resilience, discipline, and target-oriented mindset.
Performance Expectations (KPI)
Minimum 500 communications daily (calls/emails/WhatsApp combined).
Lead generation and qualified meeting conversions.
Database accuracy and reporting.
Contribution to quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets.
