Support Country CFO by overseeing finance activities, leading planning, performance management, providing financial insights for decision making, acting as business partner to Cluster team, assist country BPAs, improve financial processes & ensure requests from Regional team are completed accurately and in time.
Jobs to be done:
o Ensure comprehensive financial budget setting, accurate and timely performance tracking and reporting according to corporate finance standard. Lead and administer all key planning processes including Strategic Plan, Target, LF/LO.
o Actively support the formulation and implementation of key finance related strategies that will enable the delivery of the commercial and strategic objectives for the cluster/ the company
o Provide high quality analysis, insights and recommendations to support financial performance management, resource allocation and strategic decision making across the cluster.
o Manage monthly closing deliverables including performance debrief, analysis, risks & opps
o Maintain effective, proactive communication with Region finance and other functions
o Facilitate preparation of the Monthly Business Discussion (MBD) with region ensuring high quality updates on financial performance, key activities across the cluster and a comprehensive assessment of risks & opportunities.
o Lead or drive above Country or Country finance project management when needed
o Pioneer new ways of work in BPA operations in collaboration with FIOH, Hyd BPA, country BPA. Collaborate with Region BPA and manage its expectation and agenda.
Minimum requirements
What you'll bring to the role
Financial University degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics; MBA Finance / Chartered Accountant/CMA highly preferred
7 to 12 years of relevant accounting/financial experience, extensive BPA experience highly preferred
Excellent analytical and strategic skills. Ability to understand the bigger picture (i.e., impacts of Domain specific investments across the business, etc)
Experience with interfacing effectively with parent and global counterparts
In-depth knowledge of Sandoz business systems and enabling function's structure, including SHAPE, Data Warehouse, and BPC highly preferred
Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences
Strong PC skills including excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
