We are seeking an experienced Bottle Filler Downstream Line Operator for our dairy plant in Wayanad. The role involves operating and monitoring downstream packaging equipment after the bottle filling process to ensure smooth, hygienic, and efficient production.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor downstream line equipment such as conveyors, labelling machines, shrink wrappers, carton packers, and palletizers
Ensure smooth bottle flow from filling to packing without jams or damage
Monitor labelling, coding, sealing, and packing quality
Perform basic machine adjustments and handle changeovers
Identify minor faults and coordinate with maintenance teams for major issues
Maintain production records, downtime logs, and shift reports
Ensure compliance with dairy hygiene, GMP, food safety, and safety standards
Minimize wastage, spillage, and downtime
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the downstream area
Qualifications
Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering
Experience
3-5 years of experience in downstream line or packaging operations
Experience in dairy, beverage, or food processing plants preferred
Skills
Knowledge of automated and PLC-controlled packaging machines
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Willingness to work in shifts
Good teamwork and basic reporting skills
