Job Summary:
The Bottle Blow Moulding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining PET bottle blow moulding machines used for dairy packaging. The role ensures consistent bottle quality, hygiene, and efficient production in compliance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor PET bottle blow moulding (blow holding) machines for dairy packaging
Set up machines, moulds, and process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time
Ensure bottle quality including weight, thickness, shape, and finish
Identify defects and take corrective action to minimize rejection and wastage
Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance teams
Maintain hygiene, GMP, and food safety standards suitable for dairy operations
Record production data, machine logs, and quality checks
Carry out routine cleaning and preventive maintenance
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the blow moulding area
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering / Plastic or Polymer Technology
3-5 years of experience in PET bottle blow moulding operations, preferably in dairy or food & beverage plants
Knowledge of automated and PLC-based machines is an advantage
Understanding of dairy packaging hygiene and quality standards
Willingness to work in shifts
