Creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of the blow molding machine using CAD software.
Component Selection:
Choosing appropriate materials, motors, sensors, and other components based on performance requirements and cost considerations.
Process Optimization:
Analyzing the blow molding process (extrusion, injection, or stretch blow molding) to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cycle time.
Testing and Validation:
Conducting tests on the machine to ensure it meets performance specifications and safety standards.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with the machine, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Documentation:
Creating technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
Engineering Fundamentals:
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
Machine Design Experience:
Proven experience in designing and developing machines, preferably with experience in blow molding or plastics processing.
Manufacturing Processes:
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and assembly.
Material Science:
Understanding of material properties and their behavior under different conditions.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues.
Communication Skills :
Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with other engineers and technicians.
