Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

BOQ / Quantity Surveyor

to prepare, verify, and manage Bills of Quantities for our projects. The candidate will play a key role in cost estimation, tendering, and ensuring budget compliance throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

, cost estimates, and material take-offs from drawings and specifications. Assist in

tender documentation

and bid evaluation. Coordinate with the design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure BOQ accuracy. Monitor project costs and prepare periodic

cost control reports

. Verify contractor/subcontractor invoices against BOQ and actual work done. Update BOQs as per change orders or revised designs. Support the Project Management team in budget planning and forecasting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in

Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management

2-5 years

of experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, and cost control (preferably in interiors/construction). Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

MS Excel

, and estimation software. Strong knowledge of construction materials, rates, and specifications. Excellent analytical and documentation skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlines.
