The BOQ Executive is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining detailed Bills of Quantities for interior, architectural, or civil projects. The role involves accurate estimation of materials, labor, and cost to ensure project budgets are met and profitability is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
BOQs, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs
from design drawings and project specifications.
Analyze drawings, blueprints, and specifications
to determine quantities of materials and manpower requirements.
Coordinate with the
design and project teams
to clarify technical details and ensure BOQ accuracy.
Prepare
rate analysis
for materials, labor, and subcontracted work.
Assist in
tender preparation, cost proposals, and client quotations.
Update and maintain
cost databases
for materials and services.
Track and report any
changes in quantities or specifications
that affect the project budget.
Liaise with
vendors and suppliers
to obtain updated pricing information.
Review and verify
vendor and subcontractor bills
based on work completed and approved quantities.
Support
value engineering
and cost optimization efforts.
Ensure all BOQ documents comply with
company standards, accuracy, and timelines.
