Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounts Executive
with a minimum of
2+ years
of hands-on accounting experience. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance function on a flexible part-time schedule. Candidates with an accounting/commerce background and a strong interest in part-time work are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and journals
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursement tracking
Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and periodic summaries
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related tasks
Provide timely financial insights and updates to management
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum
2+ years of experience
in bookkeeping, accounting, or related finance roles
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in
Tally, QuickBooks, MS Excel
, and basic financial tools
Knowledge of Zoho Books is an added advantage
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Must be open and committed to part-time working hours
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, CPA, etc.) are an advantage but not mandatory
