Promote and sell books (print and digital) to buyers and institutions, increasing brand awareness.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
Product Knowledge:
Possess deep knowledge of current literary trends, new releases, and popular titles to make informed recommendations and presentations.
Sales & Reporting:
Meet individual and team sales targets by preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Events & Networking:
Attend industry trade shows, events, and promotional activities to network and build customer engagement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and publishing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is often required, though strong sales experience can be an alternative.
Experience:
Previous experience in sales, publishing, or a related industry is a significant plus.
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
