Position Overview:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

BG & Bond Management Specialist

to manage the full lifecycle of Bank Guarantees and Security Bonds. The ideal candidate will have a solid financial background and experience in working with banks, surety providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely processing of all bond-related instruments.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Bank Guarantee & Bond Management



Manage issuance, renewal, and cancellation of Bank Guarantees (BGs) and Security Bonds (performance, advance payment, bid bonds, etc.). Coordinate with banks and surety companies for timely processing and documentation. Track expiry dates and initiate renewal processes proactively to maintain uninterrupted coverage.

2. Record Keeping & Documentation



Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records for all BGs and bonds. Ensure accuracy in recording terms, amounts, and contract linkages to prevent compliance breaches.

3. Compliance & Risk Monitoring



Verify that all guarantees and bonds align with contractual and regulatory requirements. Monitor usage and exposure; highlight potential risks to the finance team. Support internal and external audits concerning the bond portfolio.

4. Stakeholder Communication



Serve as the primary liaison with banks, sureties, and internal departments (e.g., Legal, Contracts, Operations). Resolve queries or issues related to bond instruments promptly and professionally.

5. Financial Support & Reporting



Manage financial transactions related to bonds, including processing bank charges. Assist with forecasting and budgeting for bond-related costs and commitments.

Required Qualifications:



Education:


Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Experience:

Prior experience managing financial instruments such as BGs and bonds. Familiarity with banking operations and financial documentation.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with financial or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.
