Job Description

Boiler Operation:

Operate and monitor steam boilers in accordance with safety and operating procedures. Conduct regular checks on pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel supply. Perform daily start-up and shutdown of boiler systems. Maintain boiler logs and record performance data. Handle emergency shutdowns and troubleshoot issues promptly.

Maintenance Activities:

Perform preventive maintenance on kitchen and utility equipment such as grinders, exhaust fans, motors, electrical panels, pumps, etc. Conduct repairs for minor mechanical and electrical faults. Support installation of new equipment and assist with electrical/mechanical works. Inspect and service utility systems like plumbing, water tanks, and exhaust systems. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of mechanical areas.

Requirements:

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Boiler Attendant Certificate.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in boiler operation and industrial maintenance.

Skills:

Knowledge of boiler safety norms and operating procedures. Basic troubleshooting skills (mechanical and electrical). Familiarity with kitchen machinery is an added advantage. Ability to work in shifts and respond to breakdowns on priority.
