Qualification

Diploma-Mechanical with

First class Certificate of competency issued by the Office of Directorate of Steam Boilers, Mumbai

along with job experience of minimum 3 years of fired boiler operations

Experience

Minimum 3 year's experience.

Vacancy

o

Isolation and commissioning of the pumps, turbines, Level Gauges, Chemical injection pumps, Control valves & Relief valves.

o

Operation of FD

o

Blowdown of boiler as per sample results and instruction from FCCU/CCU Operation.

o

Soot blowing through all soot blowers.

o

Sampling of BFW/Blow down/Steam.

o

Field and panel readings, Logbook writing.

o

Lighting of burner.

o

Making chemical batch & monitoring injection.

o

Relief testing.

o

Steam diversion.

o

Helping instruments in isolation of tapping.

o

Steam venting / diversion during shutdown & start-up.

o

Coordination during CO gas diversion to Boiler.

o

The detection of catalyst leak or the hot spot in COB to avoid the shutdown of the unit.

o

Assurance of Cold work & hot work permit status for maintenance related activities.

Languages

Proficiency in English and Hindi with any other vernacular language
