Job Description

A Boiler Assistant assists Boiler Operators by performing routine maintenance, monitoring equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient boiler operation, while also adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Assisting with Boiler Operation:

Monitoring boiler gauges and instruments to track pressure, temperature, and other parameters. Assisting with the startup, shutdown, and operation of boilers. Operating valves and adjusting regulators to control steam or water flow. Assisting with water treatment and sampling.

Performing Routine Maintenance:

Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting boiler equipment. Replacing worn or damaged parts, such as valves, filters, and gauges. Assisting with minor repairs and troubleshooting.

Maintaining Records:

Keeping accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety procedures. Documenting any issues or problems encountered and reporting them to the Boiler Operator.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhering to all safety rules and regulations, including OSHA and other relevant standards. Participating in safety training and drills. Ensuring the boiler room is clean and organized.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
