The Bodyshop Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day bodyshop operations, ensuring smooth workflow, timely vehicle delivery, quality repairs, and effective coordination between customers, insurance companies, technicians, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate vehicle inflow and outflow in the bodyshop
Monitor job cards, repair progress, and turnaround time (TAT)
Liaise with insurance companies for survey, approvals, and claim processing
Ensure availability of spare parts by coordinating with the parts department
Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor productivity
Ensure quality control of body and paint work before vehicle delivery
Update customers on repair status and expected delivery timelines
Maintain daily MIS reports related to bodyshop operations
Ensure adherence to Mahindra processes, safety norms, and workshop discipline
Coordinate with service advisors, painters, denters, and supervisors
Eligibility & Requirements:
Diploma / ITI / Graduate (preferred)
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an automobile bodyshop (Mahindra or similar OEM preferred)
Knowledge of body repair processes, painting, and insurance procedures
Basic computer knowledge (DMS, MS Excel, email)
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
