Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bodyshop Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive service advising, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of vehicle repair processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial consultation through to vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide detailed explanations of required repairs, estimated costs, and timelines. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinate with technicians to schedule and prioritize repair work. Monitor repair progress and update customers regularly on the status of their vehicles. Communicate with insurance companies for claim approvals and settlements. Ensure timely delivery of vehicles as per the agreed-upon schedule. Prepare accurate invoices for completed repairs. Ensure proper documentation for warranty claims and special orders. Follow up on payments and ensure collection within stipulated timeframes. Conduct post-repair inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues related to repair services.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive service advising or a related role. Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
