: Coordinating with customers and technicians to facilitate repairs

: Keeping records of repair orders, invoices, and customer interactions
Quality assurance
: Evaluating the quality of repair jobs and returning vehicles to technicians for additional work if needed
Insurance
: Understanding insurance company estimates and checking them for accuracy
Parts
: Completing parts order sheets, investigating alternative sources for hard-to-locate parts, and checking parts when delivered
A bodyshop advisor should be able to work independently and manage their time and work flow.
A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or a related field preferred.
