The Body Shop Service Advisor will act as the primary link between customers and the body shop team, handling accident repair jobs, insurance claims, and ensuring smooth repair operations with excellent customer satisfaction as per BMW standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and understand vehicle body repair or accident-related concerns.
Inspect vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates.
Create job cards and coordinate with the insurance surveyor for approvals.
Communicate repair costs, timelines, and updates to customers.
Coordinate with the Body Shop Manager and technicians for timely completion of repairs.
Ensure proper documentation for insurance claims and billing.
Conduct final delivery with a detailed explanation of the work completed.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and BMW service quality standards.
Qualification & Experience:
Diploma / Graduate in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Body Shop or Insurance Service Advisor in an automobile dealership.
Familiar with insurance claim process and accident repair workflow.
Skills Required:
Strong communication & customer-handling skills.
Knowledge of body repair process and estimation.
Coordination and follow-up abilities.
Basic computer skills (DMS / Excel).
