Damage Assessment:
Inspect vehicles to identify damage and document customer concerns for repair estimates.
Repair Planning:
Create detailed repair plans, including accurate cost and time estimates, and explain them to customers.
Coordination:
Work with technicians to ensure repairs are done correctly and on time, and coordinate with parts staff.
Communication:
Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle, including any changes to the schedule or costs.
Insurance and Billing:
Manage insurance claims, communicate with insurance adjusters, and handle billing and other administrative tasks.
Quality Control:
Ensure the quality of the repairs meets the required standards and customer satisfaction is achieved before the vehicle is returned.
Required skills and qualifications :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service and "WOW" service skills.
Knowledge of auto body repair processes, parts, and common issues.
Familiarity with insurance claim procedures.
Proficiency in using estimating software and other shop management systems.
Ability to work with basic math and financial calculations for estimates.
