Job Summary

The Junior BMS Engineer will support the operation and maintenance of the Building Management System (BMS) and allied ELV systems across airport facilities. This role is suitable for freshers or early-career engineers with basic knowledge of BMS, CCTV, Access Control, and networking, seeking hands-on exposure in a large, mission-critical airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and operating the Building Management System (BMS) for terminal and support buildings. Support basic operation and monitoring of

CCTV surveillance systems and Access Control Systems (ACS)

. Respond to system alarms and support troubleshooting under senior engineer supervision. Assist in routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of BMS and ELV systems. Support coordination with OEMs, system integrators, and vendors during maintenance activities. Help maintain logs, reports, system documentation, and drawings. Support basic network connectivity checks related to BMS, CCTV, and ACS systems. Adhere to safety procedures, SOPs, and airport operational guidelines. Support shift-based operations in a 24x7 airport environment.
Qualifications

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related engineering disciplines. Freshers or candidates with up to

1 year of relevant experience

are eligible.
Experience

0-1 year

experience in BMS, ELV systems, building services, or IT/network support (internships or apprenticeships acceptable).
Preferred Knowledge & Technical Skills

Basic understanding of

BMS / IBMS

concepts and building automation. Foundational knowledge of

HVAC, electrical systems, and building services

. Basic exposure to

CCTV systems

(IP cameras, NVRs, monitoring software). Basic knowledge of

Access Control Systems

(card readers, biometric devices, door controllers). Fundamental understanding of

networking concepts

such as LAN, IP addressing, switches, and basic troubleshooting. Awareness of BMS/ELV platforms like

Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Johnson Controls, Bosch, or Hikvision

(preferred). Introductory knowledge of communication protocols such as

BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP

is an advantage. Ability to read basic schematics, layouts, and control diagrams (preferred).
Soft Skills

Strong learning attitude and willingness to work under guidance. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work in rotational shifts. Safety-focused with attention to detail.
