Position Summary
We're seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with 10+ years in the supply chain domain and 8+
years of hands-on expertise with Blue Yonder WMS (formerly JDA WMS). In this strategic role, you will lead
the design, configuration, and deployment of complex WMS solutions globally, working with cross-functional
teams and clients to deliver innovative and robust supply chain capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end solution design for Blue Yonder WMS implementations (v9.1 and above).
Conduct client workshops to gather requirements and create functional and technical solution
blueprints.
Configure WMS modules (inbound, outbound, inventory control, RF device integration, labor
management).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: PMO, technical leads, and customer stakeholders.
Mentor junior consultants, sharing best practices and coaching them in WMS configuration and
deployment.
Oversee system integration with automation tools (conveyors, ASRS, robotics, voice picking).
Lead data migration and testing strategy to ensure successful cutover and go-live.
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new features and incorporating them into WMS
deployments.
Travel occasionally to client sites as required (up to 30%). For certain cases he / she has to be on-site at
client locations.
Desired Skills & Experience
10+ years overall experience in supply chain / logistics / warehousing, with 8+ years of Blue Yonder
WMS solutioning and implementation.
Deep understanding of warehouse processes: receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, cross-
docking, and cycle counting.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle databases, MOCA commands and Jasper Tool.
Proficiency in technical scripting (Python, Java, XML) is a plus.
Experience working with automation systems (RF devices, conveyors, ASRS, WES/WCS) and integrating
them into WMS.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing WMS solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with cloud-based implementations of Blue Yonder WMS is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications

• Blue Yonder certifications in WMS or related modules.
• Previous exposure to global implementation projects in retail, manufacturing, or 3PL

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
