Job Summary:

We are seeking a

skilled and dependable Blood Sample Collection Technician

to join our team at the

Suniti Solomon Centre

. The role involves the precise and safe collection of blood samples from patients, ensuring correct labelling, handling, and transportation of samples in accordance with laboratory protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and strong attention to detail while maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect blood samples from patients at the Centre or through home visits, as required. Ensure accurate labelling, documentation, and timely dispatch of samples to the laboratory. Adhere to standard safety, hygiene, and infection-control protocols at all times. Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous, professional service. Support the laboratory and clinical teams as needed in day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

Diploma or Certification in

Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

or

Phlebotomy

. Minimum of

one year's experience

in blood sample collection (preferably in a clinical or diagnostic setting). Strong commitment to patient safety and procedural accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
