Ensures the issue of blood components / units for patient care
Review initial workup of all transfusion reactions reported to the Blood Bank
Understands blood bank methods, demonstrates knowledge of testing processes which includes donor screening, blood grouping, cross matching, TTI screening, antibody screening.
Provide consultation and support to technical staff in all aspects of technical issues.
Performs blood component separation, labelling and its storage.
Document all the necessary information in the required blood bank records in the respective work area.
Ensures the issue of blood components for patient care.

BMLT
Minimum 5-10 Years of experience in Blood Bank
