About Knoct

We are building a tech startup in the self-sovereign identity and verifiable credentials space initially but we would like to expand into every vertical and be a platform to manage all identities and data in a single platform for users and companies which makes it a platform to establish trust between any collaborations and make all process depended on identity and data faster.

We are going to create a user-centric, self-sovereign identification, verification, authentication, authorization, and data exchange platform where users can use it to connect with any entity and share data with the trusted entity based on the requirement and have control over their identities and data being shared.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with existing teams to further optimize, and debug smart contracts
2. Work on P2P networks and decentralized environments

Skills & Requirements:

1. Experience with Ethereum with Solidity and related tools (Truffle, geth, etc.)
2. Experience in either React JS/Node.js would be preferred
3. Understanding of standard data structures, algorithms, and cryptographic protocols
4. Technical knowledge of the main blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and latest innovations in the space
5. Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals (smart contracts, web3, DAOs)
6. Must know decentralized exchanges and other Defi protocols
7. Understanding of both public and permissioned/private networks
8. Has audits that are publicly viewable
9. Has smart contracts in production (extra bonus points if they are actively used)
10. Passionate about the Defi/NFT space
11. Good communication skills
12. Worked on at least 1 production-ready (real-life) decentralized application
13. Pursuing a B.S/B-Tech/M.S/Mtech. degree in computer science, electrical engineering, engineering physics, AI, IT, or a related field
14. 0-2 years experience in the required field
15. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
16. Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities and startup ecosystems
17. Full-time or part-time are both possible depending upon the student's availability
