Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and creative Block Printing Teacher to run our evening academy after school to share their expertise with students. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching block printing techniques, designing and creating prints, and working with various materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach block printing techniques, including carving, inking, and printing.

2. Guide students in designing and creating their own block prints.

3. Demonstrate various printing methods and materials.

4. Provide constructive feedback and support to students.

5. Create a safe and inspiring learning environment.

6. Develop and implement block printing lessons and projects.

Requirements

:

1. Experience in block printing and teaching.

2. Strong knowledge of block printing techniques and materials.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to break down complex techniques into simple steps.

5. Patience and ability to work with students of varying skill levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience teaching block printing to students of varying ages.

2. Knowledge of printmaking history and techniques.

3. Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
