Lead the concept development, detailed design, and integration of BIW structures including pillars, roof rails, floor assembly, front/rear modules, and reinforcements.
Develop lightweight, cost-effective, and structurally robust BIW solutions using advanced materials and manufacturing processes.
Ensure timely release of CAD models and 2D drawings with accurate GD&T and tolerance analysis.
Coordinate with CAE, NVH, Crash, Manufacturing, Quality, and Serviceability teams for integrated vehicle performance.
Manage design feasibility with respect to welding, joining techniques (spot weld, MIG, adhesive bonding, laser), and assembly constraints.
Interact with suppliers and manufacturing for tool validation, part feasibility, and cost optimization.
Support design validation activities including prototype builds, physical testing, and correlation with simulation.
Contribute to DFMEA, DVP, BOM generation, change management, and gate reviews.
Ensure compliance with regulatory crash, pedestrian safety, and emission standard

Description:
Experienced in Design & Development of BIW Closures from the concept to mass production Design.
Experience in Door BIW 3D modeling (Front & Rear Door OTR PNL, INR PNL, Frame ASSY, hinge, latch REINF's, OTR, INR rail, UPR MBR)
Design stage interactions with digital designer, package in charge, electronics teams, door mechanism and other engineering teams.
Ensure timely release of CAD models and 2D drawings with accurate GD&T and tolerance analysis.
