Relevant Experience Required:

Engineering degree with 3 to 6 yrs of experience working with Automotive BIW Doors, Closures and Structures part design



Knowledge of forming/manufacturability and assembly.



Knowledge in GD&T with the ability to apply to components and assemblies



Good communication skills.



Expert in UG NX, Part, Surface and Assembly design,



Previous experience in MBRDI (Daimler CAD methodology) will be a added advantage.

BIW structures/Side wall/Body upper part design/joining techniques

Job Responsibilities:

Designing of sheet metal parts. Modification of parts based on manufacturing, packaging, styling and CAE inputs.



Support the Body Engineering in delivering the Design projects



Create Parametric Surface models of Closure Parts (Outer skin and inner / inner reinforcement parts) as per Packaging requirements, Design standards



Responsible for meeting DVP&R and DFMEA by virtual analysis by interacting with necessary CAE team
