Reporting in to Head Banking Operations and Transformation, this department works with all businesses of the bank including retail, small business and corporate to drive analytics. In terms of functions, the department has teams focused on all aspects of analytics for the bank including risk analytics, financial analytics, crime analytics, business and marketing analytics, building predictive scores, data engineering, business reporting and data governance roles.About the RoleAnalytics is one of top focus areas for the bank and this position represents opportunity to be part of high growth teams driving innovation. This role involves understanding of model building and reviewing.Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for the following in his/her job role:xefxbfxbd Co-own the business goals & lead problem solving, work in an agile manner with business partners, Risk-review committee members , data engineering and ITxefxbfxbd Work with a team of data scientists and help deliver on projects in a time bound fashion.xefxbfxbd Innovate by adapting new modeling techniques and proceduresxefxbfxbd Work in a self-directed environment, own tasks and drive them to completionRole Proficiencies:xefxbfxbd The candidate is required to have:xefxbfxbd Fluency in Python, SQL/SAS xefxbfxbd hands on relevant experiencexefxbfxbd Experience in building models, with some years in building credit-Risk modelsxefxbfxbd Prior experience in BFSI domain a plusxefxbfxbd Should have good knowledge of advanced ML techniques (Logistic, XGboost, RF, ANNs, Ensembles) and understand the end to end deployment aspectsxefxbfxbd Knowledge of dockers/containers, micro services is a plusxefxbfxbd Solid spoken and written communication skillsxefxbfxbd Should have strong analytical thinking and be able to convince stakeholders on using data-based evidenceExperience in modelling for BFSI domain preferredxefxbfxbd Having good exposure of various deployment platforms like FICO BLAZE, BDL, ORACLE etc..xefxbfxbd Strong track record in solving analytical problems using quantitative and statistical approachesxefxbfxbd Ability to manipulate and analyse complex, high- volume, high- dimension data from varying sourcesxefxbfxbd Technical competence in tools such as Python and/or SAS a plusSkills:Refer to the About Company:Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India.
