Hybrid Working We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Introduction: This role is for a AVP who will work as Lead in java space and will be working on application called BIS Tracker currently been used across globe. Shortlisted candidate will work in the Banking team as part of dev and will own the responsibility of delivering solutions from Pune. What will you be doing . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required. The role is not \'coding to a spec\', but rather understanding high-level business requirements and working as a team (with guidance) to craft solutions to meet those business needs. . It may involve implementing new frameworks and messaging protocols provided by internal architecture teams or market standards bodies. These standards may not have been implemented before and there may be gaps / inconsistencies to reconcile. Collaboration and attention to detail are critical. . Demonstrated project experience from inception and design to delivery. Support and maintenance experience is expected, but a significant design and implementation experience is required. . Demonstrated experience leading a development team and / or principal development of a significant software project / product. Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment . Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills . Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment . Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done . Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets What we\'re looking for: Must have: 9 plus years commercial Java experience (J2EE related with Servlet, JSP, Spring knowledge plus log4j and javascript) 9 plus years commercial SQL database knowledge (the flavour of database experience isn\'t really a concern, but they must have procedural language experience too, so they know what a stored proc, trigger, view are etc) 5 years commercial web container experience (again the flavour isn\'t too important, ideally tomcat / jetty / jboss / weblogic) 2 years commercial experience of development and deployment on Openshift / Kubernetes platforms Some unix / linux experience (just basic knowledge is required, but they must know how to construct an executable shell script at the minimum) Understanding of SFTP and connectivity apps like telnet, putty and winscp (how to connect to unix from windows and how transfer files files around). Experience of using build tools and creating config files for either Ant and / or Maven (POM files) Experience of using code repositories (preferably Git / Stash / Bitbucket and Nexus), including how branching and merging is supported across multiple release versions etc. Solid knowledge of html Skills that will help you in the role: Experience of Java coding frameworks (ideally Struts, Spring, Hibernate etc) Understanding how to process xml and json files Secured technologies : HTTPS, SSL, Kerberos, SSH, Public/Private key, certificates Having used Autosys (defined / scripted scheduled tasks) Having used JIRA Basic DOS and batch files knowledge Web services and API development knowledge Ajax (interactive webpage calls) Vbscript knowledge Excel VBA knowledge Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: .
