Job Description

Job Summary:

The Technician is responsible for routine maintenance, basic repairs, installation support, and inspection of biomedical and medical equipment. The role ensures equipment functions properly, safely, and with minimum downtime in hospitals, clinics, or service locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in installation and setup of biomedical equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance as per schedule. Carry out basic troubleshooting and minor repairs. Identify faults and report major issues to senior engineers. Maintain service records, checklists, and maintenance logs. Ensure equipment safety and cleanliness. Coordinate with hospital staff for equipment availability. Support emergency breakdown calls when required. Follow company SOPs, safety rules, and compliance standards.
Equipment Exposure (may include):

Patient monitors ECG machines Infusion and syringe pumps Defibrillators Ventilators Laboratory and diagnostic equipment
Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation. Basic technical certification is an added advantage.
Experience:

1-2 years of experience (Freshers can apply). Hospital or service background preferred but not mandatory.

Basic technical and troubleshooting knowledge Ability to follow instructions and service manuals Willingness to learn new equipment Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer knowledge Flexible to work shifts or on-call duties

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
