Roles & Responsibilities:



Service Engineer



The role involves on-site service, technical support, and training to ensure the optimal functionality of medical devices and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:Installation & Commissioning



Install and configure new medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Perform functional tests and ensure operational readiness.

Obtain signed and sealed installation/specification reports from Doctors and BMEs.

Consult with customers or supervisors to plan equipment installation.

Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals to execute installations accurately.

Provide basic user training to healthcare staff on equipment operation.

Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel extensively and work beyond standard hours when required.

Maintenance & Repairs



Perform routine preventive maintenance as per manufacturer schedules.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults and malfunctions in medical devices.

Minimize equipment downtime and respond swiftly to breakdown calls.

Manage equipment under CAMC (Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract).

Take and upload before/after equipment photos during PM and service calls.

Technical Support



Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to users.

Train end-users on routine operation and care of equipment.

Maintain clear records of service activity, parts usage, and problem resolution.

Demonstrate strong hands-on troubleshooting using test instruments and tools.

Compliance & Documentation



Ensure all equipment complies with safety and regulatory standards.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date service logs and technical documentation.

Coordinate with the administrative office to obtain support or approvals as needed.

Update Service CRM daily for installations, service calls, PMs, and CAMC management.

Submit defective/used parts to HQ on the same day as the service activity.

Customer Relationship Management



Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital stakeholders, including Doctors, BMEs, and administrative teams.

Follow up daily on

RC (Rate Contract)

to ensure continuous engagement and timely execution of service/installation tasks.

Coordinate with the sales or commercial team to identify new business opportunities during service visits.

Gather customer feedback to enhance service delivery and report potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities



Act as a point of contact for post-installation and post-service support.



Performance & Reporting



Achieve individual service and collection targets as per assigned goals.

Report to the hospital before 9:00 AM daily and mark live location via TWIB check-in.

Ensure service reports are completed and uploaded to CRM before leaving the hospital.

Submit TWIB attendance, tour plans, and advance requests on a daily basis.

Share 5 reports every day with attachments.



Additional Duties



Attend to all service calls promptly and professionally.

Advise management on recurring technical issues, customer satisfaction, and operational improvements.

Complete any additional tasks assigned by the management.

Every Saturday should be planned for Private Hospital marketing and ensure updates on these visit reports are

shared with the Service Coordinator

by the end of the day.

Emphasize

daily follow-up on Rate Contract (RC) .

Focus on converting these into confirmed orders through

TNMSC LOA

process with hospitals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
