Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:

Setting up and ensuring proper calibration of biomedical equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnosing and fixing malfunctions in medical equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.

Training:

Educating healthcare professionals on the proper use, operation, and maintenance of biomedical equipment.

Quality Control:

Conducting performance tests, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing quality control procedures.

Technical Support:

Providing ongoing technical assistance to healthcare staff, addressing their queries and concerns related to equipment functionality.

Documentation:

Maintaining records of maintenance, repairs, and training activities, as well as preparing reports on equipment performance.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in medical technology and equipment to provide optimal service.

Collaborating:

Working with other engineers, healthcare professionals, and manufacturers to improve equipment performance and address user needs.
